Felted Wool Beads
Felted Wool Beads - These beads are hand made in Nepal from 100% wool felt. They do not have a hole in them for stringing; you simply string them together with a needle and thread (or a needle and satin cord, leather cord, ribbon- any stringing material!). You can also just use them with glue, to embellish your scrapbooking projects or collages. Try stringing them together into necklaces or bracelets, or sew them onto your knitting project. They mix wonderfully with other types of beads. They also string together to make wonderful handles for felted knit purses. The possibilites really are endless - just add your own creativity! We have them available in two sizes; in may irresistable colors. The 1/2 inch diameter beads com in packets of 12 beads. The 3/4 inch diameter beads come in packets of nine beads. Tokushi Gampi #52
A sturdy paper produced in Shikoku. This machine made paper has a sulphite base with gampi fiber surface. It has a lovely warm tone; traditionally used for interiors on walls or sliding door panels. At 100gsm, this paper is heavy enough to use as a card base and is great for collage. 60% sulphite, 40% gampi. Sheets measure 25x37 inches. Two deckle edges, two cut edges. The fibers on the surface give these sheets a natural, textural look- but they are smooth enough for painting, ink work, and many printmaking techniques.
