Nepalese Lokta Paper
These sheets are handmade in Nepal. Gorgeous brilliant colors and naturally deckled edges. These sheets are smooth enough to run through most ink-jet and laser printers. All sheets measure 20x28 inches. This is one of our most popular colored papers; the sheets are very colorful and decorative yet conservative in their simplicity. The Lokta bush is found throughout the eastern and western foothills of Nepal, at altitudes of 6500 to 9500 feet. The bush is a nenewable resource with the ability to regenerate within six years. The inner bark of the Lokta bush is harvested to produce Lokta paper, handmade using age-old papermaking traditions passed down from generation to generation. In addition to being ecologically friendly, Lokta paper is prized for durability and strength.
Please note that these sheets have a weight of approximately 60gsm; except for the heavy duty natural which is 120gsm.

Obonai Feather Paper
These slightly-heavier-than-tissue sheets are formed with a thin layer of wood pulp covered with a layer of finely-prepared kozo. Since kozo absorbs dye so readily, the colors are extremely rich on these sheets and yet the surface is smoothly refined. This paper is popular with card-makers and craftspeople in general. A great paper for collage, scrapbooking, and bookmaking. Obonai Feather papers also make perfect gift wrap!
