Holbein Artists' Oil Colors
Utilizing the purest of available pigments and manufactured to the highest level of quality control in the industry, Holbein Artists' Oil Color ranks as one of the world's finest. A unique property of Holbein Oil Colors is the even consistency across the entire palette of colors. Unlike Blockx and Old Holland who use traditional methods, formulas and stone rollers, Holbein uses highly advanced manufacturing techniques to produce their colors. The formulation and blending techniques for each color are modified to compensate for the inherent difference in working characteristics of pigments. Every color is ground 3 to 5 times to achieve a universally consistent viscosity. The result is a world class professional oil color without equal. 40 ml tubes, except for 20 ml transparent colors and larger whites.
