Artfix L22U Acrylic Primed Linen - 1/8" RayMar Panel
Adaptable to virtually any style of painting, Artfix L22U Belgian linen is a strong, medium texture linen with a tight weave. The canvas is primed with two coats of universal acrylic primer for a durable surface that's more matte and a bit more absorbent than traditional "glossy" acrylic-primed canvas.
It's great for oils, alkyds, acrylics, egg tempera, casein, and even drawing media. A favorite among top artists, premium Artfix Belgian linen is hand-primed in a small village in Provence, France, using time-honored European methods. The canvas is also sized twice with a specially formulated acrylic sizing to completely seal the fabric, isolating it from the acids contained in primers and paints. The primed canvas is bound to RayMar's museum-quality 1/8" MDF panels using a pH-neutral adhesive.
Made in house with careful attention to detail, the acid-free archival art boards feature RayMar's signature gray melamine backing. The backing resists warping and provides a permanent barrier against deterioration from moisture and mold. Lightweight RayMar Artfix L22U Belgian Linen Panels are an excellent choice for professionals and students working en plein air or in the studio.
