Imported from Italy, these sets by Tassotti include beautiful pre-cut papers and folding instructions to make the star or kusudama shown. Kusudamas are modular origami models where multiple
units are fit together to form a ball-like shape. The word “kusudama”
literally means “Medicine Ball” when translated from Japanese. They were
originally used for incense and potpourri which is where the
name most likely comes from- we like to think of them as medicine for the eyes!
