Old Holland Oil Works, established in 1664 is the oldest paint factory in the world! They make Linseed Oil traditionally by crushing the flax seed in their Windmill. This is the purest cold pressed, sunbleached linseed oil available. Old Holland claims that cold pressed linseed oils produce paint films that retain their flexibility and embrittle less than hot pressed oils. Old Holland only uses cold pressed linseed oil to make their fabulous oil colors.
