Stretcher Bars
FineArtStore offers a very nice selection of professional stretcher strips. We offer three lightweight bars manufactured by Best, Masterpiece and Fredrix. Why three? Well, all three offer three distinct profiles to fit your painting style. If you work your brush vigorously you may want the Best lightweight bar which offers a larger 1/2 inch gap between the canvas and the bar so you will not have bar marks in your painting. If you work your brush gently than Masterpiece and Fredrix should be considered. In lightweight bars we even have a fourth option: Vincent kits that include cross braces. For deeper profiles that can be hung frameless we offer the professional Best Medium Duty bars that are 1-1/4” deep for the gallery wrapped look with a ½” gap to prevent bar marks in your painting. In professional Heavy Duty bars we offer Best Heavy Duty bars individually and Monet Kits that include cross braces. For very big or even small painting in humid or areas with severe temperature extremes we offer the Best Aluminum Pro Bar that prevent warping no matter how humid your climate is.
