Schmincke Horadam Aquarell- Special Edition "Supergranulating Colors"
The new special edition HORADAM® AQUARELL "Supergranulating Watercolours" contains a total of 40 watercolours in half pans, divided into 5 shades each in the series "Deep Sea", "Glacier", "Galaxy", "Shire", "Tundra", and "Forest"
By combining at least 2 granulating HORADAM® pigments, this effect is intensified to "supergranulation".
The colours are formulated with pigments from different colour ranges, so that the granulating effect results in additional colour changes. For example, the colour "Deep Sea Indigo" (14 952) is a combination of a violet and a green pigment, while "Glacier Brown" (14 965) contains a brown and a green pigment.
Please note! This new, natural structure of the colours varies depending on the substrate and the amount of water used. The rougher a paper is, the stronger the granulating effect.
